  • After months of aggravation over my guestbook getting spammmed, I have decided to remove it from my site.   Unfortunately, there are characters out there who take pleasure in destroying other people's hard work.  I don't have the time or energy to spend trying to fight them.  I can probably live without my guestbook easier than they can.

Go spam someone else you pathetic fools!

  • For the second time in two months I placed second in a figure competition with my Cold Patrol.  I am very pleased, considering that some of the other figures were very, very good.

  • Finished another vignette.  This one has not title as of yet.  It shows a trooper repelling down a rock cliff.  I guess for now I will call it the 10th Mountain Division on maneuvers.

  • The AMPS East show was a success.  I am pleased to announce that I took home two silver medals.  First one was in Advanced Dioramas for Picnic and second in Advanced Figures for Cold Patrol.  Needless to say, I am extremely pleased with myself, especially when I did not expect to win anything.
  • I have added some photos from the AMPS to my gallery.  Take a look and enjoy.

  • I am going to the AMPS show in Newburgh, NY this weekend.  I hope to enter three different figures and see if any of them are good enough for a competition such as this one.  I hope to see some of you at the show.  Click on the link to view the AMPS Flyer.

  • Finally!  I have finished another project.  It is another vignette and this one is called Take Cover!.   I hope to have quite a few more this year.

  • Hey, in case anyone is wondering...yes, I am alive and kicking.  I have just been neglecting my hobby for a while.  You could say that I have been in a modeling slump as of late.  Not sure what was going on.  I do feel that things are starting to turn around for me and I think that 2005 will be a better year.  This said, I would like to wish all my friends a Happy and Prosperous New Year.  May everything you hope for come true.

I would also like to send my prayers to all those who suffered in the recent Tsunami tragedy.  My heart goes out to all of you.

  • I have added several new websites to my LINKS page.  There is one particular site I am very happy to have found.  This site is dedicated mainly to the Warsaw Uprising of 1944 but it also covers other aspects of the war.  The site is written in Polish so you will probably need to have it translated it.

June 20, 2004
  • I have added another 'how-to' article.  This one explains how to make a stone-block wall, wooden fence, wild grass and basic groundwork.   I will at some point add a figure or two to this newly finished base.  In the mean time enjoy the Ruined Farm.

  • Guestbook is back!.  I was finally able to install and configure it.  You can find it at the bottom of the navigation menu on the left hand side.   Feel free to let me know what you think about my work and/or my website.

  • Started working on a 1/16 scale figure.  It is a Jager, Fallschirmjager Batallion 500 figure from Dragon.  I am hoping to enter this figure into a local model contest in April.  I will post photos once I have it finished.

  • Started working on a new diorama.  At this point all I have is a partially finished Kubelwagen and a street section which is being completely scratch-built.  My idea at this point is to have a German Kubelwagen caught in an ambush on a corner of a street somewhere in either Germany or Poland toward the end of war.

  • In my References section you can now find different military ranks.  Currently there are SS and Polish ranks in there.  With time I plan to add more countries i.e. Great Britain, France, Canada, Russia etc.

November 13, 2003
  • Another dioramas is going to be put to rest.  I have completely lost interest in continuing to build the Lost Cause diorama and decided to scrap this whole project.  I think it was taking me way too long to get it done and during this time I have also noticed a few imperfections as well as some things that should have been taken into consideration but were not.  Adios Lost Cause!

  • Well, I no longer need to worry about what figures to add to my Bunker diorama.  During the move to our new house, my wife (unknowingly) threw my diorama out.  Yes, my heart broke but then life must go on.   R.I.P. my friend.

July 13, 2003
  • I have got a couple of vignettes done.  First one is called Cold Patrol and the second one is called Signal Flare.

May 12, 2003
  • I have finished second diorama this year.  It is called "Picnic" and you can look at it here.

March 15, 2003
  • Another Andrea Miniatures' figure is on the shelf.  Just like "Beau Geste" it is a 54mm white metal figure and you can look at it here.

February 9, 2003
  • I finished first diorama of 2003.  It is a vignette taking place in Vietnam (during the war) and you can find it in the Dioramas section or click here.

December 8, 2002
  • I finally finished a project this year.  It is Andrea's "Beau Geste", a 54mm white metal figure.  You can find it here.
  • I added a scale conversion calculator.  It can be located under Tips.

September 16, 2002
  • Created a Modelhut logo.  It took me some time but I was finally able to come up with this one.
  • I wrote an article on making barbed wire.  This might be useful to some folks.

September 2, 2002
  • A lot more pictures have been added.  I have also written a couple of articles.
  • If you would like to see what I am currently working on, check out the "Workbench" section.

July 29, 2002
  • I have reorganized the menu.  It seems to make more sense now.

June 24, 2002
  • I have added few more pictures.  They are: American M4 Sherman, British M3 Grant MkI and German PAK 35/36 37mm gun.

June 20, 2002
  • I have done just a few things here since I couldn't find the time (shame on me!).  Damn computers got in the way.  Yes, I am a computer geek and spend way too much time in front of or inside of my PCs.  I have decided to push my computers aside for a while and build a couple of models.  I am starting a new dio called "Lost Cause".  It will depict a scene in which US Paratroopers (101st Division) take over a German strong hold position in Normandy.  This should be fun.
  • I have added pictures of a Ford MUTT to the US/Vehicles section.
